Beta Diagnostics indicate unexpected events in the XTension code. These events can be harmless, or can indicate very serious errors. When you report these errors to Astrobyte we will fix the errors, and tell you how to avoid them in the future.

There are two easy ways for you to report the beta diagnostic to us. Remember what the number is in the headline of this page, then:

Remember to include a brief description of your document, the items in the Content List, and your actions prior to the error.

Note: while you are reporting, QuarkXPress and BeyondPress will continue to process. If the situation is serious, QuarkXPress may have crashed or the document may be visibly corrupted. In that case, you should quit QuarkXPress (or force-quit by typing Command-Option-Escape) and start again.

If data is not visibly corrupted, you can continue, but you should use <B>Save As </B>on your document as a precaution.
